I would suggest deleting the comments by the other two eye is missing I guess under the headband hand is kinda funny but these just add to the cartoony feel of it nice:)

Change you style to more of this. By that i mean do the preliminary drawing by hand, then do this coloring in photoshop buisness, it looks much nicer than those other ones you have.

Also, I would invest in a scanner for these types of drawings over photographing them because a badly photographed drawing, no matter how good, will look like shit. When a drawing is in faint pencil a scanner will pick it up much better than a camera.

If you insist on continuing to document your work via camera i would suggest this. Stick it to a vertical surface, position the camera on a tri-pod as close as you can in order to get the whole pic in the shot (zooming in reduces quality) Then take two spotlights and position them to both sides of the pic at about 45 degree angles to get rid of cast shadows from objects near the paper and also to light the thing properly, then take you pic, and crop it/clean it up in photoshop as nesscary.

Also, lose the line paper.
